HISTORY:
Growing up in Purlewaugh, rural NSW, Greg had an average life on his parents’ farm. Having only them and their constant political conversations as company for a lot of his life, he concentrated on the only thing that allowed him to escape from this reality in such a remote location – insects. Collecting, breeding and learning about all sorts of insects peaked his fascination in this field, though farm work and politics, which his parents seemed to only care about, made him feel nauseous at best.
At the age of 18, after making enough money on the farm, Greg decided to head into the city in an attempt to follow his passion with insects and entomology. The crowds of Sydney tended to be more of what Greg preferred in his life than the solitude of home, and so, he remained. Studying at Sydney University in biology, he began to dislike the formal form of education, and decided to drop out, and pursue his passion for entomology on a less formal basis, simply going about it at his own pace. He found himself a rather low-end job in a cafe as a barista and worked in Sydney until he was 21. By this point, he had pretty much lost interest in most things around his area, as well as the large crowds, and upon hearing of a studying entomology professor living in Seattle, decided to head over there and seek her out.
At the age of 23, Greg had made it to Seattle, but with very little income, and the brief wanting to find somewhere a little more isolated than the middle of a city, but less-so than a rural farm, he found a basement flat near an industrial area that was still under construction in downtown Seattle that was very cheap. Having near-no residents in the nearby area, he found the place to his liking, though the state of the area was left a little wanting. He secured a job as a barista, in a cafe not too far from his new-found home, he began tracking down this up-and-coming professor as well as continuing in his locating and learning about insects in his spare time...
SECRET IDENTITY:
When in the Power Suit, Greg tends to try to take on the persona of a machine as much as possible, and generally doesn’t speak. Due to him being very new to this, his demeanour will most likely change over time as he learns what works best for him.
(NB#1: When I start off with my character, he's not gonna be the superhero person yet, he'll do all that soon... as I've got it for now anyway... might change my mind... but I'll go either way before I actually start posting.)
